This  skin depicts “Billy” Bishops SE5A, 60 Squadron R.F.C., France Summer 1917. This skin set also includes an optional detailed exhaust system, cockpit with windscreen frame and Skins for foam board wheels. Born William Avery “Billy” Bishop in Owen Sound Ontario Canada 8 February 1894. In 1915 he joined the Royal Flying Corps as an observer in an RE7 flown by Roger Neville on aerial spotter role. On 17 March 1917 he arrived at 60 Squadron at Arras flying the Nieuport 17 fighter, in which he survived an encounter with Manfred von Richthofen. He won the DSO, and in July 60 Squadron received the new R.A.F. SE5a. He won the VC on 11 August 1917, and also was awarded with the MC, DFC, Legion d’honneur and the Croix de Guerre. He was credited with 72 victories and survived the war.
